DC Web Fest is thrilled to announce our 2017 Festival Schedule. Our list of Official Selections can be found here. We invite you to join us for an evening of the best new media from around the world. Tickets permit access to any and all of the following events on Saturday, April 1st. Purchase tickets here.

Throughout our program, our 2017 Official Selection of Apps and Online Games will be on display in the common areas for guests to interact with. We'll also feature VR demos from the following special guests:
Come take a Virtual Reality Field Trip through Google Expeditions. Google Expeditions Enables teachers to bring students on virtual trips to places like the Great Wall of China, Outer Space and the underwater to the Great Barrier Reef.
Take a truly immersive experience with an ExperiusVR volumetric VR (Virtual Reality) demo. It will give you the freedom to move through space and time, opening up worlds of possibilities. Step into the story and feel like you’re not just watching someone, you’re with them. Walk completely around the person you’re watching as if you’re in the same room, and choose your own perspective.
Navteca will provide exciting VR demonstrations that take the viewer into the three-dimensional structure of Hurricane Matthew cloud and storm systems from the NASA Global Precipitation Model (GPM). The observer interacts with and views volumetric data rendered in real time using interactive VR hardware (headset and controllers). Navteca will also show some of their 360 video pieces on the Samsung Gear VR headsets, including projects from Spain and an award-winning timelapse tour of DC.
Discovery VR will be giving you a fresh new perspective on many of the amazing sights and experiences that Discovery is known for. From the depths of oceans to the peak of Everest, Discovery will transport you there with amazing 360 video pieces, sure to inspire awe.

Mimosas with Millie - U.S. - NY/LA
A comedic slife (slice of life), satirizing conversations over mimosas between Millie, an entitled and highly opinionated Millennial, and her best friend Becky.
Fat & Fat - Germany
A man struggles to get back to a girl he met at a BBQ after drifting down a river.
Like You - Australia
Elliot can’t catch a break. Stuck between a dead-end job, Netflix and chill dudes and a medically unsound goldfish. With the help of her friends, she’s leaning in and looking for love – but getting a little distracted along the way.
The Watercooler - New Zealand
Each episode of The Watercooler is provided by the show's audience and is completely true. This series sets out to prove the adage: the truth is stranger (and much funnier) than fiction.
That's My DJ - Canada
This drama is an unapologetic look at music, cliques and artists all trying to find their place within the new order of rave.
Bertrand - France
On a 'break' with his girlfriend, Bertrand moves in with his upstairs neighbor who has hacked every webcam of their building.
Zyara - Lebanon
