We’ve been in a pandemic for nearly two years now,
but we persevered through Year 10!

This is the future we have been preparing for, actively organizing what "now" actually looks like. Last year, we transitioned all festival programming to online due to the coronavirus pandemic. Taking advantage of distance learning and digital interaction, we provided a phenomenal engaging experience where many were educated and uplifted. The peak of the pandemic brought upon the closure of some of the world's biggest arenas and facilities, from the NBA to Disney World. DC Web Fest persevered through its 8th, 9th and 10th years with great success. We've altered our relation with space and place, maximizing our presence in the digitals sphere. Sure, we miss connecting in person, but we want our festival to continue evolving through the digital sphere. With your support, we can continue to scale and support all creative voices, sustaining the industry as the longest standing web festival. We are excited as we continuously grow and we welcome you along on the journey with us!

Founded in 2013, DC Web Fest serves to entertain, educate and promote the innovative forms and diverse voices in the new media landscape. From web series to apps to games to VR, we celebrate new media in its ever changing form. Due to the pandemic, we have evolved even deeper into the digital sphere, having just finished our second virtual festival! We are deeply excited for what the future holds for all creators!
