Here is how it works:

1. Create a free Filmmaker/Screenwriter/Artist account.
2. Create a project for your web series, short film, app, screenplay, podcast, etc.
3. Include an active link to your show/game/blog, etc.
4. Submit your masterpiece!

Analyzing Diversity in Media Questionnaire

If you are a content creator, please help us by answering this short questionnaire. The questionnaire is 100% anonymous and will NOT be used as criteria for judging in DC Web Fest submissions. This questionnaire will be used in a data analysis project analyzing diversity in media.

Prizes & Awards

Content Creators vie for a chance at $45,000 USD value in a mix of services, meetings with HBO, Marvel reps, & Arpix Media, as well as some cash prizes. See below for details. 

Best of Category Award Winners Receive:

• A customized hand painted wood slate board.
• An opportunity for a distribution deal.
• Top 3 in Student category get $100 cash each & in competition for Grand Prize.
• Top 3 in script category get $1,000 in writing industry perks each & in competition for Grand Prize.
• The best script gets an interview in The Script Lab Magazine.

Rules & Terms

Due to volume, your total submission should be NO LONGER than 30 minutes or 10 minutes per episode. If your submission is longer than 30 minutes, we cannot guarantee a proper jury.
Screenplays: Please submit a maximum of 20 pages. 

Note for Filmmakers: Due to limited time at the screening and award ceremony, Official Selections may be asked to provide a segment no longer than 10 minutes.

Note for Game/App Developers: To submit your project use the Film/Video form, but ignore all boxes that don't apply (i.e. basically all of section 4).

Note for Student Submitters: Use your student email to contact info@dcwebfest.co for special student discounts.
